The prime years

Today I'm 37. Am I in my prime? There has been my debate about what the prime years are. Is it the teen years? The 20's? The golden years. Actually, it's pretty simple, in my expected life expectancy, there's 21 prime years, and I'm in one of them. It started at 2, then 3, then 5, then 7. I never really understood until now, but now that I do...gosh darnit, I'm going to embrace it. Odd as it may be (certainly not even), I've only got about 9 of these left.

It all started by in 1995

He was only 34 years old. He felt silly watching a movie about superheroes...but the draw was strong. He felt as if his future depended on it. In the end, he knew he simply must have it...and he does...oh yes he does.

"The future of {obama} is brain waves. My invention beams any TV signal directly into the human brain. By stimulating neurons, manipulating brain waves if you will. This device makes them feel like they're inside the show. Why be brutalized by an uncaring world?"

Luckily, we canceled cable 2 months before the election and managed to escape the strength of it's grasp. I think it's safe now, or is it? Maybe the mind control has just begun? Yikes, looks like I'll have to wear a funny shielded hat while watching TV.

Morphing Wonder Woman

Why? Well just because, but I think I like her better the original way. I'm quite certain she might use her superpowers to inflict some pain on me for the result. It's called "Mucha". Morph your own images here.

Been there, had that

Well, Luke and I must be doing SOMETHING, we keep on getting poison oak! I'm back to the theory that we should lock ourselves in our rooms and do nothing. Probably safer that way.

I leave you with a song. What does it have to do with anything? Absolutely nothing, but I'm sure it will inspire you for something. Here it is...

Hero Hiatus's Happen

A time of silence is needed again. A time of reflection to gather deep thoughts to inspire us to get through the progression of fall and through the dark cold winter. Wait...we live in California...there is no winter. Well, I have to inspire my faithful Antarctic readers. Talk to you after some trekking....

I leave you with a deep thought from Jack Handy...
"I hope some animal never bores a hole in my head and lays its eggs in my brain, because later you might think you're having a good idea but it's just eggs hatching."

Insomniac 102, what the experts forgot

Yesterday, we got the Harvard expert opinion. Well, enough from that heady bunch, shame on me for broadcasting that lab-rat nonsense. Here's the real top 10 (almost), in somewhat random order...
1. Who me?
2. A little of this
3. Too bad this isn't the top one
4. Need I say more?
5. A little of that
6. Pick any of the sounds, you'll get the picture
7. It's not just for pancakes....
8. Can they come any earlier?
9. Must have more....

Spotlight on Frederick

As to whether he's a superhero, we're not quite certain. The extra chair in our house is always for Frederick. If there's an open seat in the car, Frederick is usually in it. If it's lost, Frederick took it. When there's no one to talking, Frederick seems to have something to say. Dynagirl is convinced he's a big hairy dog; Dash has joined that bandwagon. Cosmic Boy has a theory of his own. Mr. Incredible, one who has a long history of hearing voices and having friends that no one seems to see,
thinks he looks like Waldo, from the "Where's Waldo" fame. Wonder Woman doesn't even join in the discussion, I guess she's used to invisible things with her jet and all. Honestly, I don't know what the mystery is, I can see him quite plainly in the picture above, can't you?

00Soul has arrived

Once again, another superhero hiding out in Hayward. Here I thought the only thing that came out in Hayward was at the Turf Club, but I'm proved wrong. 00Soul is smooth, real smooth. He confuses the enemy with a broad array of bird calls, sings so high that he puts villians into temporary shock, then sometimes confuses even himself by transforming into "Stan the horseshoe man". He and his co-hero employ a broad range of superanimals, obviously trained mercinarys to complement their powers; the bunnies can sneak into virtually any stronghold, the cat has tude but no doubt gets the job done (when it wants), but the dog is 00Souls true sidekick, once actually licking a villian into submission. Villians, I suggest you approach with caution and stay your distance.

Mr. Incredible gets back to silliness

Accused of being too serious this week, Mr. Incredible takes a dramatic left turn. (right, or wait, did I turn around altogether?, I digress.)

Let's get back to some good old fashion... this and this and below. That's what I'm talking about.

Mr. Incredible and Dash have first boxing match

Probably won't be the last. Guess who won?

Mr. Incredible takes vow of silence

I Mr. Incredible have overstepped my bounds one too many times. I hereby swear to not write another word until at least July 14th. I will be studying ancient forms of Gregorian chants and plan on returning to the blog with a renewed sense of inspiration. I may even strike this pose in my purest form. May the force be with you all.

Travis Buck Bobblehead day cancelled

A real bummer for the awestruck ladies who were smitten by his swagger. The good news is that they've rescheduled the event with the A's #1 fan. Click the picture to see him dance and listen to the music!

Germany is on the map

Yes, I got my first hit from Germany this week and that visitor was the longest peruser this week, a long lost superhero who just may earn his cape in our hall of justice. Also got my international fans from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Egypt, Spain, Canada, India, and the UK. Remember I'm an "ad" free source of information. I won't cash in my "Incredible" popularity until I cross 2,000,000 hits. I managed to catch a picture of my Germany visitor using my internet web spycam (attached) so all please make sure you're wearing clothes next time you are browsing (really, it's not that kind of site, we run a clean superhero shop here, you SCALers keep on your clothes, I don't care how hot it is, I have food to eat while I'm typing)

Our little Joseph

As Mr. Incredible many times likes to pit his little superheroes against each other to "build character", I praised Dash as my "favorite" kid today at dinner since he prayed a beautiful prayer thanking God for his wonderful mommy and daddy. Of course the other superheroes were quite jealous and I quipped that Dash should be called Joseph and that he better watch out! I also commented that if he were Joseph, "Who does that make me?". Dynagirl, the Biblical scholar of the family, didn't miss a beat and quickly replied "Mary?". Not exactly what I was looking for, if you don't know the answer, consult First Andrew Lloyd Webber, verse 10.

Kennedy is doing fine after surgery

I found this picture of what he looks like after surgery. I think it's probably normal right after surgery to try to grab something that's been removed. I really think they got all the cancer, but that's just my unprofessional opinion.
